Got it for myself to pass some time while on a relaxing vacation. I severely underestimated the complexity and realism that was engineered into this Lego car. I expected it to have a working hood and frunk, but never expected working butterfly doors and certainly not a working transmission.To be transparent, this was my first Lego build in 15 years and it is evident that Lego has stepped up their game since I was a kid.The box was missing just one piece, which isn’t bad for a 3700 piece kit. I have already requested the part from Lego directly and received it hassle free.Overall, I am surprised by the quality of the product and am tempted to start collecting some of the advanced kits.

Enjoyed building this and was lucky to get on a nice discount. Only downside is some steps were wrong, in some cases making me think pieces were missing. I’d suggest checking online for any misleading steps before starting.

This is only my second high difficulty Technic build, but I couldn’t believe how well designed this was. It’s no wonder it took 2 years to design this car. It took a very long time to build but I very much enjoyed it, and the end result was very much worth it. It looks incredible.Two downsides:The first is the cost. This is a very expensive set at $450 at the time I bought it.The second downside was a missing piece, but this is more of a minor inconvenience. It wasn’t a small piece but luckily didn’t prevent me from continuing the build. Lego is great about sending out replacement pieces, and a replacement piece is on its way to me. With as many pieces are in this set it’s not surprising a piece would be missing.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend and he loved it!! It came with 6 in depth instruction books. They were about 350 pages each. If you need to keep someone distracted for a while, buy them this set!
