I got these during the Black Friday sale for $69, which was an absolute steal. However, the $99 base price is also an extremely good deal. I have a large amount of earbuds as I’m an audio nut, so I can give a good account as to how these perform. For the price, they’re near unbeatable. Active noise cancelling, instant pairing, and ambient mode at this price point is unheard of given the quality of each feature. Compared to the airpods pro series, the ANC on these earbuds beats the Gen 1 Airpods Pro, but not the Gen 2. Same goes for ambient mode. The case feels of impeccable quality, and holds a longer charge than my Airpods. When comparing it this way, $99 vs $249 is a no brainier. These win without an effort. The Airpods Pro are not $150 better than these. Not even close. The biggest thing for me though was that I love the old galaxy buds and buds plus’ fit. The fit of the new galaxy buds series never worked for me well at all. The round shape and weak seal made me turn my nose up at a lot of the modern Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds Pro line. These fit like the original galaxy buds did, and that’s exactly why I bought them. I love it. They fit snugly, they don’t fall out, and they don’t make the ears itch. Perfect.Sound is pretty good, though the highs are slightly blown out and can create a hissing sound if in the right scenario, which is unfortunate, but the sound is far from terrible. It’s warm, deep, and full of life and detail. I have yet to find true wireless earbuds with all these features for this price, especially ones that still maintain sound quality this good.Overall, these are a fantastic deal. I highly recommend them. -
I know these are on the lower end of the range, but they are so far the best overall earbuds I have ever owned. These replaced a set of Buds2 Pro that died in the washing machine, which replaced my original Buds Pro earbuds that did the same. Not a hardware problem…My main use is for conference calls, and get 2-5 hours of use from them per day. Battery life is not really any different from the Buds2 Pro, and the sound quality is just as good or better for calls, and nearly so for music. Comfort is equivalent, and the slightly sharper angle of the earpieces in the FE fit slightly more securely than the others during activity.Despite having no wireless charging option for the case and somewhat more limited software adjustments for ambient sound and other minor adjustments, I would prefer these overall to the top-of-the line Galaxy earbuds at price parity, and hands down considering cost. Highly recommended. -
Does what it says on the tin. Crisp sound. Good base. Awesome build quality. Fits great. The active noise cancelling is not perfect, but features like ambient sound and bixby make up for it.For the price I am totally satisfied. I totally recommend the Galaxy buds FE. -
I got to make this review short and sweet the base is incredible the the media that the medium the mid it is great the the treble is awesome the the battery life is is phenomenal you really can’t go wrong with these air Buds and in a way I’m sorry to say but I feel like I ripped them off I really do because these earbuds are absolutely incredible so if you’re in a market for a new pair earpods and I work out at the gym everyday they stay in my ears I have no problem with them they don’t lose their base and they don’t lose their their volume or anything as the as they lose their battery they stay very strong I’m sorry I know I said it was going to be a short review but I got a little overzealous there and yeah I’m really really stoked and excited with these and I’ve had them for about a month now and they haven’t let me down whatsoever and they pair between my devices so I jump from my phone to my tablet to my Chromebook and and I have no problem jumping between anything so like at the gym I’ll have it on my phone and then I’ll pull out my tablet and I’ll start doing my start I’ll start doing another workout I’ll throw my tablet up up on it and then it it automatically switches right over to the tablet so great product good good job Samson really good job with this one great great product love it bye don’t time looking at any other ones just do it go for it I don’t know what else you looking for but this is the one to get it it’s it’s awesome you’ll love it trust me -
I’ll preface by saying I’m comparing these to the buds 2 pro. I focus on what’s important…the audio. Comfort is subjective and that’s for another day. The lows and base are very goid. I’d even say the base is deeper and has more punch then the pros. The highs and the mids ,while very good, aren’t on par with the pros. Overall sound stage gets a 7.5 if pros are a 10 but again they sound great if you have never heard the peos. For 99 dollars these are a steal. Battery life is great and anc is on par with the pros. There are a few things missing that disappoint me. There is no ear tap to adjust the volume which I’m sure was a way to xut cost. This is where a huge priblem comes in that samsung may want to address. THE VOLUME. To the uniniated the volume on these are horribly low. That’s because the volume rocker on your phone isn’t synched with the actual volme on the earbuds. So you turn your buds all the way up with your phone and are underwhelmed. You have to set the double tap feature in the wearable app to volume up and down. Only then can you crsnk the volume up and be pleasently surprised. This alone is going to cause a lot of skewed negative reviews.Overall they are great. The cons are the lack of ear tap for volume and highs not being as crisp. I’d recommend these before the buds2 pro for the price point even though the pros sound several levels better in overall soundstage then the bds fe. -
Disappointing
Unfortunately I find most of Samsung Galaxy buds to be rather disappointingAfter trying multiple different pairs of headphones around the same price range, I find that their noise cancelling is pretty top tier, but everything else is pretty averageMy biggest issue with all of samsung headphones though (even these ones) is that they don’t seem to want to stay inNot sure if it’s the design or my ears, it’s not the only pair of headphones I have this issue with, so it’s entirely possible it’s a me issue, but google brings up multiple others who have had the same problemSound quality isn’t poor, but even Soundcore headphones at the same price point were superior in my opinion
